Shira Atkins is a writer and devoted yoga practitioner and teacher based in New York City. Shira has been with Sonima.com since the very beginning, working to plan and produce written and video content for the site. Shira graduated from Brown University, magna cum laude, with a degree in Slavic Studies. She currently lives on the lower east side of Manhattan, rolling out her mat whenever and wherever she can. When she's not in a yoga studio, she's got her head (and heart!) buried in books of poetry and Russian literature, or is drinking red wine with friends.
