Tackle Your Workout in One Song

Squeezing in exercise is often a scheduling issue. Hence, why our friends at Elev8d Fitness created this 3-minute workout that you can complete in no time.

If all you can spare is a few minutes a day for fitness, then so be it. The experts at Elev8d Fitness have put together a total-body, low-impact routine that you can complete in a single song, which, in this case, is “Rise” by Caroline Jones, a singer-songwriter who was recently named by both Billboard and Rolling Stone as a country artist to watch. She’s currently opening for Jimmy Buffett after having spent much of last year opening for the Zac Brown Band. She just released her new album, Bare Feet, and you can listen to the title track here, or check out her tour schedule here. (Full disclosure: We’re a little biased. Caroline is our founder’s very talented daughter and we love her!)

Ready to rise to the occasion? Hit play and rock out to the following fast movements: Start with 25 seconds of crunches to hip bridges, then segue to one arm bridges for 60 seconds. From there, try to complete 15 over under switches for 40 seconds, followed by maypoles to squat for 30 seconds. Finish up with 35 seconds of jumping jacks, and then cool down with cats and dogs to realign your spine. Boom, you’re done!
