Writer, master teacher, and mindfulness coach, Aruni Nan Futuronsky finds life is best experienced with compassion, gratitude, and a whole lot of humor. She has been teaching since 1970 in a variety of venues: in inner city public high schools, in the barrios of the Philippine Islands, and at Kripalu Center for Yoga & Health, where she has been a senior faculty member since 1990.
Aruni’s books and innovative CD of guided meditations have touched the lives and the hearts of many. In her inimitable style, Aruni’s humor and compassionate depth create a unique voice which cuts through resistance and creates bridges of understanding between hearts.
As a mindfulness coach, Aruni offers support and guidance on the journey of creating transformational and sustainable change in your life. Hundreds of people have benefited from her guidance and wise counsel.
A full-time senior faculty member at Kripalu Center, Aruni is part of the Healthy Living and R&R Retreat teaching staff. She teaches self-discovery and spiritual attunement workshops at Kripalu and at other venues. Aruni has taught the Inner Quest Intensive—a three-day intensive in the art of living yoga and Kripalu’s longest running and signature off-the-mat yoga program—for over fifteen years.
Aruni lives in the beautiful Berkshire Hills of Western Massachusetts.
