Intents represent our deepest desires. They are who we aspire to be as individuals, members of our family and communities, and citizens of Mother Earth. When I was young, my father Deepak Chopra used to ask my brother and I to repeat the following phrases after meditation. It goes like this:

“I am responsible for what I see. I chose the feelings I experience and set the goals I will achieve. Everything that seems to happen to me I ask for and receive as I have asked.”

As you set your own intentions during this guided meditation, consider asking for things that will make you happier, healthier and more purposeful. Keep in mind that intents are different from goals. Goals come from the mind, but intents arise from the soul. Use this meditation to listen to the whispers from your soul that will reveal what will truly bring joy to your life.
