Cherries remind us of the (fleeting) sumptuous sweetness of summer, cacao of the bittersweet joy of past and the possibility of what lies ahead, hemp of the raw power we need to face each day’s challenges, and bee pollen of the golden fruits our industriousness may bring. Topped off with blood strengthening spirulina (blue green algae) and tropical toasted coconut, this smoothie bowl will usher in a supercharged new you.

Ingredients
Smoothie
- 1 cup peeled frozen banana chunks
- 6 cherries, pitted
- 2 tablespoons raw cacao nibs
- 3 tablespoons hemp seeds
- 2/3 cup pure water
- pinch ground vanilla bean, or 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
- pinch sea salt
- 4 ice cubes (optional for a thicker smoothie)
Garnish
- 1 tablespoon cacao nibs
- 1 tablespoon bee pollen
- 1 tablespoon unsweetened toasted coconut flakes
- 2 teaspoons spirulina powder
Directions
Place all smoothie ingredients in a high-speed blender and blend until smooth. Pour into your favorite bowl, and top with superfood garnishes. Dip in with a spoon, and feel the renewal flood every cell of your body.
